Do I need a membership to publish?
No. You can always publish as a Non-member (Pay-as-you-go)and simply pay the relevant article processing fee (Standard, Fast-Track, or Premium Highlight) per accepted article.
How are article credits used?
Each membership includes a fixed number of article credits. When your article is accepted, one credit is applied instead of a full article processing fee. Credits are valid within the membership year.
Can institutions assign credits to different authors?
Yes. For the Institutional Partnership Membership, the institution can assign article credits to any affiliated staff or students, following internal approval procedures.
Are waivers available?
IRU Journal may offer partial or full waivers for authors with proven financial constraints, especially students and researchers from low- and middle-income settings. These are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
